From another of the 'Sun Lifers'. 'Dangerous' Dave as he was known to us for over 45 years was and will always be a gentle, gentleman who enjoyed his life, was proud of and loved his family - obvious to anyone he spoke too.

So many great memories from being a Phil Collins double, record collection, computers, computer games, downloads, cleaning bird 'stuff' from the Cathedral roof, getting locked out the Cathedral and climbing the walls, drinking petrol from a lawn mower (by accident), working on electrics without turning off the power, cutting the tops off conifer trees and using a plastic garden table to balance on as he topped the next one, BBQ's wearing wellies/asbestos gloves and goggles, buying a car not knowing it had been used by armed robbers and so many more - perhaps his most dangerous act was always trying to give me a bear hug cuddle!

He did everything with a smile and good humour, enveloping all he knew him with his love and friendship. A part of our lives is now missing but never forgotten
