A true Friendship

I used to know Dave long before we went to college toghether.  We both went to Catford Boys School although he was in the year above me.  We would meet up in Mansfield Park with a few of the other lads to just lark about.  My main memory of going to College was meeting Dave in the morning and getting a lift in his bubble car which used to scare the life out of me.  After College, as Harry as said, we all became very good friends and the rest is history.  I remember when i was first diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2017 Dave and Diane were among the first people to come round and see me to support us.  After that Dave seemed to take me under his wing, he would always phone to see how i was doing and then say “do you fancy meeting up for a walk and elevenses”.  What followed was many trips to Leeds Castle in all seasons and Dave always made us laugh taking lots of photos of the bird life. He particularly liked the ducks and their antics in the Spring!  Dave we are gonna miss you, you were like a brother to me. X
