Funeral for David Alfred Blenkarn

Created by Dawn Derbyshire 3 years ago
Dad's funeral will take place at 2pm on Thursday 11 June at Medway Crematorium.  The service will be taken by the Very Reverend Dr Philip Hesketh, Dean of Rochester Cathedral.

Due to the social distancing measures in place, the amount of people that are allowed to attend the service is restricted so we have specifically invited people to attend on the day.  Please be assured if we were not in the midst of this pandemic, the funeral service would have taken place at the Cathedral allowing you all to attend.  Looking ahead, we are planning to hold a service of celebration for Dad's life in the Cathedral at a later date. We will let you know when this has been arranged and hope that we can all come together on that occasion.

We would still really love you to join us for his funeral on 11 June, and you can do this by watching the service on the internet. The crematorium will broadcast the service so please use these instructions to access the feed.

Thank you so much for your response to our tribute website, we are taking great comfort from all your stories and photo's of Dad.  He really was a special man and we thank you for taking the time to contribute, it means a lot to us.

All our love
