We never thought that this would happen, we prayed and believed that he would come back home to his family and friends. Tragically and sadly this did not happen. I remember going to watch Uncle Dave playing football at the weekend over at Blackheath Common even when the weather was awful, and he was a great inspiration for me. Both Claire and I will miss him terribly, his love for his family showed with his great smile, funny personality, always welcoming and would do anything to help you if he could. He always loved his chocolate and remember with great affection him having cheese and tomato on toast around my Mum and Dad's house on Saturday afternoon. Uncle Dave you will be terribly missed by us both. Love Jason and Claire
