I first met Dave when he was an apprentice electrician and we were working together in the Old Kent Road and living in S.E. London in the 1960's, we soon became friends and played in the same football team. He was an excellent player and his hero was Jeff Astle. We kept in touch after both moving to Kent and have been friends for over 60 years, so he will be sadly missed. We will catch up again one day at the great football match in the sky, oh, and by the way, I hope they have plenty of brown sauce up there. (Diane will know exactly what I mean). Keith Robinson
