I only knew Dave for just over a year, but in that time .... I helped him celebrate his 70th birthday; I listened to his stories and heard his plans for the next weekend; I knew that on a Tuesday and Thursday I would have tea made for me at 11.00 & 15.00 and that there would be biscuits in the tin; I knew where to go for re-cycled batteries; and I knew who to ask if I needed a hand with anything. The Vergers kitchen won't be the same without him. Helena
